paticbloxy runs PATIKBLOX and is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide why and how your data is used.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email, username, login credentials) — to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
• Profile and content (avatar, games, items, comments, posts, friends, chat) — to provide the Service. Basis: contract.
• Gameplay and usage data (scores, points, presence, device and browser info, IP address) — for multiplayer, leaderboards, security and improving the game. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Moderation data (reports, bans) — to keep the community safe. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Subscription status — to unlock Plus+ perks. Basis: contract. Payment card details are collected by Paddle, not by us.

Who we share data with

• Service providers that host and run the Service (cloud hosting and database providers).
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling Plus+, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Your username, avatar and public content are visible to other players.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. When that happens we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account exists, and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, purchase records).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. We will reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden, IMY).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls.

Cookies and storage

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your game settings. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
